As the Risk Specialist you will support and further embed risk management across the business, to guide and support the application of the process. The job holder will help to ensure that the business is robust in identifying, measuring and mitigating risks to ensure corporate governance standards are met. Your responsibilities: Support the Head of Group Risk to review, update and cascade the Group-wide risk management processes and framework in line with regulatory requirements. Design and build data visualisation to engage and enable effective risk storytelling across the business using internal and external data to influence discussions. Design and own the production of risk reporting packs for various management forums and ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements. Motivate and further develop Risk Champions across the business and take ownership of the risk community providing education and training to build risk awareness as required. Own and enhance the risk universe coverage connecting the risk and controls framework. Support departments improvement initiatives, with specific focus on use of data in risk processes. Requirements for the role: Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience. Risk management experience of at least 3 years (including assessment, management, reporting on risk matters or facilitating risk discussions). Experience and interest in data analytics and use of data in risk processes. Previous experience in a Risk environment, within a professional services environment or in industry. An ability to work at a variety of different levels, from the detailed to the strategic; and an ability to talk to stakeholders at all levels. Willingness to travel in the UK.
